Erik Satie

Erik Satie was a French composer I admire. His music isn't simply as most of people say. It's very controversial because of a humor and a sincerity which are camouflaged by seeming triviality. He laughed about big music forms, because these are ununderstandable for most of people. Just a little group of people understand the essensional thoughts in Mozarts, Bachs or Chopins music. It's not just a nice melody.
Secondly he criticised titles and all poems around music opus' in romantic and also impressionistically XIX century. We can see it in parodistic titles and music motives in Three pieces in the form of a pear and Dried EmbryonsIn his mind music was life background, magical supplement making life more interesting and pleasant. Moreover he was really funny, for instance The Bureaucratic Sonatine is a parody of corporational realities.
He is the author of lovely pieces. When you are listening to his Gymnopédies you'd feel you're flying above pure, mithological Greek land:)

Enjoy! Fly! Love! And be happy... :)
